NBA players don't really try?

It seems that when you watch an nba game, they are lacking alot of defense and don't really seem to be really trying. It seems like there supposed to let teams post 95-100 points on them. They also don't seem to try to get the offensive rebounds. They just collapse back to their defensive end. College players always fight for every loose ball or rebound and play tough defense. I think that's whycollegebasketball is more fun to watch. What do you think.

p.s-i wont just give the best answer to whoever agrees with me. Give me your real opinion and good reasons.

NBA players don't really try?nba basketball

Agree...

NBA players don't really try?college basketball ,nba teams

I would you would you want to watch a kid your age play ball? Why? so he can make you feel that he's gone somewhere in his life?

this is why I hatecollegesports so much! they are Amauturs

NOT PROS!!! they only play hard because htye think they will make it to the pros, when all likely they will have their hopes and dreams crushed!
I agree with you but I do like to watch both sports a lot. I think they play harder incollegebecause now they made it tocollegeball, they'll try to go into pros and wanna be a first round draft pick.
i do agree though . i mean there getting paid no matter if they lost.. its actually really boing to watch . at leastcollegeplayers do it because they want to plus half professional athletes arent evencollegeeducated . pshh w.e they usually suck anyway course if i made 2mill. to play ball i wouldnt try either
U are dumb
No way what the hell are you talking about all these guys in the nba work their arses off on and off the court thats how they made it their when somebody's really good they can do something without it looking like they are trying

For example mj the greatest watch him when hes setting up a play he walks around or looks like he doesnt really care until he puts p an effortless jumpshot and scores but the reason it looks effortless it because his millions of reps of the court

As for the offensive rebounds guys are so gd at rebounding in the nba most guys just cant get past defensive rebounders
definitely stick tocollegebasketball because they're working hard to get into the big leagues.

but just like any other job, once you do it for a while it becomes so easy that you can kind of tell what's gonna happen so your not gonna be in the mix because you know you'll probably just be wasting energy.
well, then stick tocollegebasketball.
The only player who plays defense in the NBA is Bruce Bowen. That is why he starts over Manu. NBa is much more slack then College because NBA doesn't care about winning as much as money. College is where the desire is at. :)
It depends on the team you're watching. I mean, I watch Celtics defense almost every game, and it impresses me how much they hustle, compared to the other team. However, College Basketball has to work harder, so it's more intense because they are on a league below th NBA, but are broadcasted and viewed on the same natinal level as the all-stars.
Its very hard to run and up and down the floor and play great offense and defense the whole time. The offense of NBA players are at a much higher level thancollegeplayers. So teams are expected to score a lot more. Also travelling is not

called that often as incollegeball so NBA players get away with a lot more. I think NBA players play defense as hard at they can, but get caught up in scoring more as it is more fun to watch.
it is a myth that nba players dont play hard in general..they may not go 100% at all times b/c that wouldnt be smart..its an 82 game season, 48 min/game, u have to pace urself so u can last the whole season

a lot of what u said has to do with increase spacing caused by the further 3point line...unlike in college, guys arent going to crash the boards from the perimeter b/c its a further distance and they want to prevent transition...more space also creates the illusion that less defense is being played..college players also seem to put forth more defensive effort b/ccollegerefs call way more charges than in the nba

teams r supposed to allow 95-100 pts/game b/c nba players are so skilled and athletic, the shot clock is only 24 seconds, and the game is 48 min.

i like the nba much better b/c officials allow a more physical game (more no calls), the level of play is obviously way better, the 3point line is farther (creates better spacing and it isnt a 3point contest like much of thecollegegame) and the shot clock is shorter (which makes for a faster paced, more watchable brand of basketball)
